What Is It?
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, first isolated from human plasma in 1973. It can also be found in saliva and urine.
What makes it particularly interesting is that it’s not just a synthetic research compound — it’s something your body already produces. Plasma concentrations of GHK decline sharply with age: from approximately 200 ng/mL at age 20 to roughly 80 ng/mL by age 60. That decline lines up closely with the body’s reduced ability to repair and regenerate tissue as we get older.

How Does It Work?
GHK-Cu has an unusually wide range of biological actions. It stimulates blood vessel and nerve outgrowth, increases collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, and supports the function of dermal fibroblasts.
